Our vision is taking shape. Fairview Education is now a registered charity # 1198688.
In September this year, around 3000 children will sit the 11+ examination for Gloucestershire.
About 1000 will make the grade but, of these, on average, only 35 will be on the Free School Meals register.
You can see the problem. Those with financial resources can afford the extra tuition needed. Those without simply cannot.
Our Grammar Schools are state funded. Access should be available for all regardless of their ability to pay for extra tuition.
Our vision is to increase the intake of
FSM children into the local Grammar Schools from 3.5% to 10%.

Local partners in Cheltenham
We will be using classrooms at The School House Cafe in St Paul’s in which to tutor our students in September.
These have been funded through the generosity of one of our trustees.

Local partner primary schools
We have developed great partnerships with 4 local primary schools and have 14 applicants for ‘Free Tuition Bursaries’ starting in September 2022 so far.
